We did it! With 13 participants from diverse Portuguese higher education institutions we had a magical weekend at Montado Freixo do Meio where we immersed ourselves in a transformative learning experience following the model of the Schumacher College to rethink education *hands-on* and to imagine a new higher education. We are grateful for the amazing group and are preparing a proper follow-up to share about our findings and insights from this event! Stay tuned!

Linking care with sustainability

This lab is designed to be a space for experimentation and co-creation. Dedicated to help restoring the balance of our planet, we want to focus how to take care of inner and outer sustainability.

This website shall serve to accompany the emergence of a transformative learning space at NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University Lisbon.

"Care is a species activity that includes everything we do to maintain, continue and repair our "world" so that we can live in as well as possible. That would include our bodies, ourselves and the environment, all of which we seek to interweave in a complex, life-sustaining web."
